Passionate about the ongoing cultivation of deeper connections with innate wisdom and abundant wellbeing, I am dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, parents, and families in their unique journey of growth, awareness and wellbeing.
My private life coaching/counseling and course facilitation integrates and is inspired by extensive training in the broad spectrum of the healing arts.
I completed my MA in Counseling Psychology at National University and obtained a specialization in Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology from the Santa Barbara Graduate Institute. My bachelors’ degrees are in Psychology and Religious Studies.
With over twenty years of experience working with children and families, my sessions are supported by my extensive training and experience as a parenting educator, birth and postpartum doula, meditation and yoga instructor.
My somatic psychology orientation is influenced by ten years of offering dynamic bodywork that integrates Deep Tissue, Shiastu, Acupressure, Structural Alignment, Yogic Stretches, and Esalen-style Swedish Massage techniques.
I have facilitated Circling* for 12 years and am a senior course leader for the various programs associated with Authentic World including: Aletheia, Train-the-Trainer, The Authentic Women’s Experience, The Authentic Man’s Program, and The Community Leadership Course.
I am personally inspired and sourced by being a student of the School of Yogic Buddhism and Indigenous Traditions of Healing, including those offered through Earth Peoples United. I also enthusiastically serve on the Earth Peoples United Board of Directors.
I continually offer gratitude for my stellar health as a result of the training and practices offered through the Yogic Medicine Institute.
*Circling uncovers our “relational blind spots”—the places where we push away the depth of connection and intimacy that’s possible in any moment. Through Circling, awareness of blind-spots, more choice with responses, and an experience of “being seen” for who we authentically are all become possible. Circling teaches us how to see and celebrate each person for the unique flavor they bring to the world. Circling also offers practical relating tools and training to take back into our lives for richer, more rewarding interactions.
